Why I Built Grade & Caption

I take thousands of photos of my kids every school year, but they end up scattered across my phone and cloud drives. I wanted one place where the best moments from each grade could live together — a real book I could hand my kids someday, not another folder they'd never open.

So we built Grade & Caption around one simple habit: one prompt a week, one photo, a few sentences. The prompts are written for your child's actual grade, from kindergarten through 11th, so the questions grow up right alongside them. At the end of the year, it all becomes a printed hardcover book.
